Keyu Jin is a tenured professor of economics at the London School of economics. Her field of expertise is international macroeconomics and the Chinese economy. Her research has focused on global imbalances and global asset prices, as well as on what drives China’s growth model, the Chinese saving puzzle, and ramifications of the one child policy. Her academic articles are published in leading journals such as the American Economic Review. For the media, she has written and spoken widely on the myths and realities of China’s macro-economy, on growth sustainability, financial liberalization, and government reforms. She has written for the Financial Times Op-ed, and is a columnist for the Project Syndicate, through which her articles are disseminated to over 70 countries around the world. She sits on the advisory board of Richemont, and has consulted for the World Bank, the IMF, the New York Fed, Bank of England, along with many other financial institutions. Dr. Jin is from Beijing, China, and holds a B.A., M.A., and PhD from Harvard University.
